Upgrade the plant. Don't stop it.
Control panel, PLC and SCADA retrofits across five controller platforms — engineered, commissioned and supported by the people who built them.

Services
Whoever built your control system, we can take it over
Six services covering design through to the annual maintenance contract. Most projects use three or four of them.
The work we are built for
The plant already exists. It has to keep running.
On a greenfield project the risk is finishing late. On a retrofit the risk is that the plant does not restart — and that risk is carried by production, not by the project.
So we plan backwards from the shutdown window you can actually give us. Panel built and factory tested, program written and simulated, screens developed and reviewed — all while your plant is still running. The window itself is spent on the changeover, with a rollback route that has been tested rather than assumed.

Plant we know before we arrive
Each page lists the systems we work on in that vertical, the standards that shape the scope, and the questions buyers there actually ask.
Expertise
Five controller platforms, four SCADA systems, five drive lines
A plant rarely runs one brand. The utilities are Siemens, a packaging line is Omron, and the chiller skid arrived with whatever its OEM used.

Selected work
What the job actually involved
Problem, constraint, approach, result — with the number that mattered. Not a logo and a sentence.
How a project runs
Enquiry to annual maintenance, and what you get at each step
Seven steps. Each one produces something you keep, whether or not the project proceeds to the next.
- 01
Enquiry
A conversation with an engineer, not a form response. What the plant is, what has gone wrong or what is changing, and what your constraint actually is — usually a date or a shutdown window.
You getA same-week call and an honest view of whether we are the right firm for it
- 02
Site study
What is actually installed, rather than what the drawings say. I/O count, network topology, controller and SCADA versions, licence position, backup state, spares held, and photographs of everything.
You getAn as-found report you keep whether or not you proceed
- 03
Functional design specification
What the system will do, agreed in writing with the people who will operate it as well as the people buying it. Disagreements found here cost a meeting. Found during commissioning they cost a shutdown.
You getAn approved FDS and a fixed scope
- 04
Build and factory acceptance test
Panel built and wired, program written and simulated, screens developed — all off-line while your plant keeps running. Then tested on the bench against a written schedule, with I/O forced point by point.
You getA signed FAT record, and an invitation to witness it
- 05
Install and site acceptance test
Delivery, positioning, termination and loop checks. Every field device proved end to end from the device to the value on the screen.
You getSigned loop check sheets and an SAT record
- 06
Commissioning
Dry runs, then wet runs, then production, with an engineer on site until it holds. Interlocks are deliberately tripped and observed rather than assumed to work.
You getA closed-out defect list and operator handover at the panel
- 07
Support and AMC
On-call response, scheduled visits, and periodic program backups that are proved to restore rather than merely taken.
You getA support agreement with a response time we can actually meet
Standards & compliance
What we work to
Engineering standards are a way of working, not a possession. These are the ones that shape how a DNM project is designed and documented.
PLC programming languages
Ladder, function block, structured text and sequential function chart, chosen per problem rather than per habit. Named in DNM's own capability brief as the programming standard the team works to.
Industrial automation and control system security
Network segmentation, controlled remote access, account handling and patch discipline on OT networks. DNM works to its principles; this is a design posture, not a certification.
Functional safety, process sector
Where a safety instrumented function is in scope, it is designed to IEC 61511 with a stated integrity level, or referred to a functional safety specialist. It is never implemented inside a basic process control system and described as done.
Batch control models
Recipe, unit and phase separation on batch plant, so a new product is a data change rather than a code change.

Tell us what the plant is doing
Send the problem, not a specification. An engineer will come back to you — usually the one who would do the work.
