Building management and energy monitoring
In an industrial facility the BMS is not comfort control. It is the chillers, cooling towers, AHUs and extraction that the production process depends on, and when it drifts the process notices before the people do.
We work on the utilities side of building services: chilled water, cooling towers, AHUs and cleanroom air handling, process cooling water, compressed air, process vacuum, extraction and scrubber systems.
Most of this plant arrives with its own controller from its own supplier. The work is rarely to replace those — it is to bring them onto a common network, present them on one head-end, and make the interlocks between them explicit instead of accidental.
Systems we integrate
- Chiller plant, primary and secondary pumping, and sequencing between machines
- Cooling towers, including fan and bleed control
- Air handling units, cleanroom pressure cascades and differential-pressure monitoring
- Process cooling water, DI water and RO plant
- Central extraction, fume scrubber and exhaust systems
- Compressed air and process vacuum
- Metering for electricity, water, gas, steam and compressed air
Energy monitoring that pays for itself
Metering is only worth installing if somebody reads the output. We would rather put in fewer meters at the points that answer a real question — which line costs what per tonne, which chiller is drifting — than a full submetering scheme that produces a dashboard nobody opens after month two.
